About me :
About 10 years ago we bought our first
Staffordshire Bull Terrier from Adele & Louis of Larumo
Kennels. This was Gabby ( Ch Sabod Power Potion of Larumo).
Gabby was born on 4 March 2003, a very lovable, soft natured
Stafford. I decided not to open my own kennel and Louis &
Adele agreed to campaign my Stafford's, as well as managing
their breeding. Adele started showing Gabby and soon made
her up as champion. On occasions I went with Adele to the
shows & liked the idea of showing Stafford's. Later Adele,
Louis & I traveled all over the country to attend shows with
Gabby.
Louis & Adele decided to mate Gabby, her
first litter produced only one puppy, namely Brutus (Larumo
One & Only of Boldwin). I decided to keep this puppy & Louis
started showing Brutus and soon made him champion. Brutus
was Larumo’s very first bred champion. Again Louis & Adele
decided on a mating for Gabby & we agreed that they would
take a female puppy from this litter. This litter produced
2 puppies, namely Ch Larumo Jagged Ice & Larumo Mystic Ice
of Boldwin. Ch Larumo Jagged Ice, (please visit

to see this most beautiful Stafford & her accomplishments),
was Adele & Louis top bitch, she had a terrific show career
& produced beautiful puppies, one, Larumo Queen Sarabi of
Boldwin is in my kennel. Sadly Ch Larumo Jagged Ice passed
away in December 2011. Ice, an once in a life time Stafford,
will be missed dearly, I loved her as if she was my own.
Traveling to the shows with Adele & Louis was
very exciting and I enjoyed sitting alongside the show ring,
taking photo’s, cheering & clapping when Larumo won & made
up champions. I then decided to try out handling & took
Larumo Mystic Ice of Boldwin into the ring. This was not so
easy as it looked but I really enjoyed showing my dogs. On
occasion Louis & Adele had a few puppies of the same age and
handing all of them between themselves at the shows seemed a
problem. They allowed me to show one of their puppies,
Amber (Mirrabooka Amberley Sweet of Larumo). With their
guidance & patience teaching me how to handle a show dog,
Amber even got so far as competing in Best Puppy in Show.
Sadly Amber passed away before she could be made champion.
I loved this little bitch with all my heart! I will never
forget you, Sweet Amber.
Through the years I took on a few more of
Larumo’s puppies, another is Beau (Larumo Beautie of
Boldwin) who produced AJ (Ch Larumo Shark Attack). AJ was
also showed and campaigned by Adele & made up champion in a
very short period of time.
After showing & breeding with my
Staffordshire Bull Terriers together with Louis & Adele for
over 10 years I decided to open my own kennel, Boldwin
Staffordshire Bull Terriers and I have transferred all my
Stafford's to my kennel name.
I am now campaigning my 2 juniors, Zulu
(Boldwin Shaka Zulu), dog born out of Larumo Beautie of
Boldwin & Larumo Sakima Leo and Abby (Larumo Aberlour of
Boldwin), bitch born out of Ch Tengeenie Savannah Dawn of
Larumo & Ch Yardstick Rob Roy of Larumo.
I love my Staffordshire Bull Terriers with
all my heart & I can not see my life without them. Living,
breeding & showing with Staffordshire Bull Terriers are
rewarding to one’s soul!
